Islam Makhachev and Ian Machado Garry will clash in a welterweight title bout at UFC 330 on Aug. 15, and the entire event will air exclusively on Paramount+. While the streaming service no longer provides a free trial directly, a DirecTV partnership offers fans a way to watch without opening their wallets.
Through the UFC and Paramount+ deal, the event is only available on Paramount+. For those looking to avoid a subscription cost, DirecTV’s Signature plans offer a practical workaround. The Entertainment, Choice and Ultimate packages include three months of Paramount+ Premium, HBO Max, STARZ, Cinemax and MGM+ at no extra charge, a bundle valued at $185. DirecTV also gives new subscribers a free trial that lasts five days on every plan, so they can sign up, watch the fights and cancel before any charge hits.
Claiming the offer is straightforward: choose a Signature package, then select Paramount+ when prompted to pick add-ons. The three months are included automatically. Once the trial period ends, premium add-ons renew monthly at the current rate unless you cancel. Alternatively, the Premier Signature package includes Paramount+ access indefinitely and still comes with the same free trial of five days.
The main card begins at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET on Saturday, Aug. 15, with prelims at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET and early prelims at 2:30 p.m. PT/5:30 p.m. ET. The entire event will be broadcast live on Paramount+.
Headlining the event is Makhachev vs. Machado Garry for the welterweight title. Other main card fights include Mackenzie Dern vs. Gillian Robertson for the women’s strawweight title, Jalin Turner vs. Kauê Fernandes in a lightweight bout, Mansur Abdul-Malik vs. Dustin Stoltzfus in a middleweight matchup and Edson Barboza vs. Esteban Ribovics in another lightweight contest.
The prelims feature Chidi Njokuani vs. Joel Álvarez in a welterweight bout, Charles Johnson vs. Eduardo Henrique in a catchweight fight, Donte Johnson vs. Eric McConico in a middleweight matchup and Vicente Luque vs. Tresean Gore, also at middleweight.
Early prelims include Rafael Tobias vs. Lucas Fernando in a light heavyweight bout, Neil Magny vs. Ramiz Brahimaj in the welterweight division and Jeremiah Wells vs. Myktybek Orolbai, also at welterweight.
For anyone eager to see Makhachev defend his title and the rest of the stacked card, the DirecTV promotion remains the simplest way to stream UFC 330 on Paramount+ for free.
