The UFC brings a stacked card to Philadelphia this Saturday as Russian Islam Makhachev (28-1-0) defends his welterweight title against Ireland’s Ian Machado Garry (17-1-0) in the UFC 330 main event. If you are looking to watch the action live, streaming options range from Paramount+ to a Walmart+ trial that includes the service, and here is a rundown of what to expect.
UFC 330 takes place at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a start time of 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PT. The main card begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, and the main event is expected around 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT. The Paramount+ schedule lists the early prelims at 5:30 p.m. ET, prelims at 7 p.m. ET and the main card at 8 p.m. ET.
While the UFC has yet to announce the walkout songs for UFC 330, both fighters have used familiar tracks in past appearances. Makhachev has entered the octagon to “Dreams” by DJ Nariman, while Machado Garry has preferred “Layla” by Derek and the Dominos.
Paramount+ will carry the event. The streaming service’s Essential Plan, which includes limited commercials, costs $8.99 per month or $89.99 per year. The ad-free tier is now $12.99 per month or $129.99 per year, and it now includes Showtime, all the benefits of the Essential Plan and access to your local CBS station. After any free trial period ends, your subscription automatically renews at the regular rate, but you can cancel at any time.
For a low-cost option, Walmart+ is offering a 30-day trial for $1. The membership includes Paramount+ at no extra cost. Walmart+ announced last September that Paramount+ would be included with any subscription. A Walmart+ subscription costs $98 for an annual plan, or about $8.17 per month, after the trial.
DirecTV also provides a path to Paramount+ through its Premier package. It comes with a five-day free trial and is priced at $129.99 for the first month, then $169.99 per month. The package includes more than 185 channels, ESPN Unlimited, HBO Max, Disney+, Hulu and other streaming services, unlimited DVR storage and the ability to stream on three devices simultaneously.
The early prelims begin at 5:30 p.m. ET, followed by prelims at 7 p.m. ET and the main card at 8 p.m. ET, all on Paramount+.
