Reality television star Adeola Adeyemi, better known as Diiadem, has publicly denied rumoured romantic ties to businessman Olakunle Churchill, dismissing pregnancy claims as “completely false.”
The pushback comes after a public fallout with Dabota Lawson, her co-star on “The Real Housewives of Lagos.” Lawson, during an online exchange, alleged that the beauty entrepreneur was romantically involved with Churchill, sparking speculation.
In a Snapchat post, Diiadem described the rumours as a “false narrative” and said she has known Churchill for more than 13 years. She explained that their friendship dates back to her school days in Ghana, and she firmly rejected the pregnancy rumour.
“I’d like to address two things. The false narrative that’s currently being circulated. I’ve known Big Church for over 13 years. We have a long-standing friendship that dates back to my school days in Ghana. The pregnancy rumour being attached to our friendship is completely false,” she wrote.
Diiadem also addressed the way her public actions have been interpreted, noting that she attends events hosted by friends and supports those close to her.
“I attend my friend’s events, I support the people I care about, and that’s all there is to it. Not every friendship needs to be turned into gist. One more thing: I never admitted to being pregnant for anyone, nor did I confirm any of the narratives currently being circulated,” she added.
She further clarified a phrase she had used earlier, saying, “The term ‘my married ex’ was simply me referencing a phrase that had already been used publicly. Somehow, that has now been turned into an entirely different story. Please, let’s stop turning assumptions into facts.”
With her response, Diiadem sought to end the speculation and urged the public not to treat assumptions as facts.
