The X-Men are officially entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe. At a D23 event in Anaheim, Marvel revealed the full cast for its upcoming, untitled X-Men film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2028.
Sadie Sink will lead the cast as Jean Grey, a role that was teased in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Joining her are Kit Connor as Scott Summers, also known as Cyclops; Christopher Abbott as Charles Xavier, or Professor X; Samara Weaving as Emma Frost; Maya Boyd as Storm; and Inde Navarrette as Rogue. Navarrette is coming off a potentially star-making turn in the surprise critical and commercial hit Obsession.
The X-Men will face off against Nathaniel Milbury, better known as Mister Sinister, played by Adam Driver.
Marvel has teased the arrival of the X-Men for years, and the mutants were finally brought into the MCU in the latest Spider-Man movie. The new X-Men film is set for May 5, 2028, though the date is far enough in the future that it could shift before then.
With the cast now revealed, Marvel continues its march toward bringing the X-Men to life in the MCU, with a release date currently set for May 5, 2028.
